Traffic Accident Insurance Claims Article
By Dan Baldyga
THE ANSWER TO THAT ONE IS:
"Absolutely" !
Many individuals involved in a motor vehicle
accident are too embarrassed to seek Medical Attention. Either
their bumps or bruises don’t seem to be serious or the
onset of symptoms don’t immediately occur.
After an impact, an initial evaluation, at a
local hospital’s Emergency Room, is solidly recommended.
X-Rays can be performed which will generally rule out broken
bones or fractures. AND ALSO: Muscle relaxants and/or anti-inflammatory
medications can be prescribed to address muscle strains or
pulls.
Sure, it’s true that not every accident
produces an injury: HOWEVER: If the onset of a serious injury
is delayed, the failure to have a medical complaint recorded
will absolutely affect your chances of financial recovery.
NEVER FORGET: Back and neck injuries (like herniated
disks) are not always determinable ! Too often they’re
initially diagnosed as “Soft Tissue” injuries
before a MRI or a CT Scan reveals a disc injury.
Normal x-ray film is generally not diagnostic
of disc injuries!
Most insurance adjusters will refuse to pay
a claim when there has been a delay in receiving that type
of treatment.
Dan Baldyga was on-the-job for almost 40 years
and (even though there were solid reasons as to “Why”
there was a delay or gap in treatment) almost every victim
ended up uncompensated.
PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY: If your physician
diagnosed an injury, you must make sure to keep your appointments
and scheduled treatments. This is true - - even if all the
doctor is doing is examining you and then prescribing new
medications.
Take it from Dan who knows (after handling many
thousands of such cases): Documentation of your “Pain
and Suffering” is essential to successfully be paid
what you have coming for your claim.
You must believe me when I say, “That’s
not going to happen if you stop seeing your doctor and just
pray to your Higher Power asking Him that in time you’re
going to slowly but surely get well“ !
UNSUCCESSFUL TREATMENT WILL ALWAYS LEAD YOUR
DOCTOR TO BECOME MORE AGGRESSIVE - - ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES
TO DISCOVERING THAT WHICH WILL ABSOLUTELY HELP WITH YOUR RECOVERY.
